We hosted our wedding party here. From the discussion of the menu to the execution, everything was great. Despite Corona and the rules observed, we had a great party. Great great service and super delicious food. There wasn't a single thing to complain about! I can only recommend it! We will come back in any case.

I am a regular customer of the red ox. The food tastes like it was cooked by a star chef. The prices are very good too. The staff is very friendly. By far the best restaurant in and around Schwäbisch Hall Taste: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Friendliness: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Atmosphere: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ + The food comes from regional companies. 👍

Not only very good, genuine Swabian cuisine, but also otherwise great rooms including a large guest garden, everything with atmosphere.

Typical cuisine, delicious. Above all, the ambience is nice and traditional. It shouldn't be a problem to sit at the large tables with other guests

Very friendly staff, very tasty food. I had cereal cakes with stir-fry vegetables and salad. Super fresh salad and really delicious grain fritters, I was thrilled. I highly recommend it.

We were guests at the red ox today. Food was delicious and plentiful. Very fair in price. Very short waiting time and very friendly staff. We would like to come again

The food was very good and the waitresses very nice. But the waiting time was underground. We had chosen from the quick menu and had to wait 45 minutes for food. Others sometimes waited 1.5 hours. And it wasn't that busy now.

Very nice ambience, beer garden and restaurant to feel good. Young, friendly staff. Food was always very tasty, has been there 3 times. The only small drawback, I personally miss a snack menu in the beautiful beer garden. But think that's because I come from Bavaria (Upper Palatinate). I would love to come back

Good stop after a bike tour. Nice beer garden. A visit to the open air museum is recommended.

Great beer garden, good food, great ambience - you are on the edge of the open-air museum Schwäbisch Hall. If you have a little more time just pay the entrance fee, then you can go to the beer garden with the kids to look at animals and the old farmhouses are really well prepared. Also worth a detour from the A6 in transit for a lunch break - it is only about 8 minutes from the exit.

Lentils with spaetzle - inedible. Much too sour, with so much vinegar it would last for weeks! Only spaetzle with sauce - the sauce is absolutely inedible! Horrible ! It's a shame, actually, the ambience is very nice. Where else could they not exist!

Delicious food and friendly service. We waited almost an hour for food. But since the children found enough to play with and the food was very good, this was not a problem.

A new tenant has been at the inn since March 2020. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. You can taste both the salad and the main dishes that everything is cooked or prepared by yourself. The boss was personally on site and super friendly and always tried to offer top service. The beer garden is very cozy.

Very nice, located directly at the open air museum. With beautiful historic dining rooms, beer garden and delicious food. The staff very friendly and attentive, delicious food. A successful conclusion when you were in Wacki, or just like that.

We were there on a holiday. The kitchen didn't run well that day. Staff very friendly and helpful. Due to the corona restriction, you could only order in a specially designated room .. technology spins .. took forever .. Then came the drink after eating, which tasted very good. I had cheese spaetzle value for money ok. My companion is a soup and a cake. The soup was eaten in about 30 seconds - such a large portion was (that was ironically meant) price-performance ratio 5. The cake was delicious, but the piece was also small. Not very small, but small. Normal is a little different. But it was good. Price-performance ratio 3. I think without the above Glitches a good choice. Some of the portions should have commercially available sizes.

The Red Ox in Wackershofen has had a new tenant since 2020, please don't let the old ratings deter you. Beautiful beer garden, very nice staff and good homemade food. I can only recommend!!!

Absolute top class! Even as non-German citizens, we were always received politely and above all hospitable and served. (Unfortunately, far too rarely these days!) The boss is incredibly personable, super nice and always ready for a joke! Very friendly service and great food. We will definitely come back;)

The food is mediocre. The dishes are boring. It is positive that you get organic quality for a good price. That you ask for a robber dish money is just outrageous!

You'll find good swabian food here. Waiting times can be long on busy days.
